I alsofind myself not so much blurting out loud Calla speak but hearing it in my mind when thinking... Having read the first 3 novels over ten years ago, it was like coming back to old friends.. Friends who have grown older and wiser, hopefully with me.. I love how Stephen manages to mix both life experience and ideas of science ( parallel universes is one small example), interlapped with an uncanny ability to read and relate the human spirit in all its glory and despair. It reaffirms my belief that pain and growth in life do count for something. And even if we all or really most do not have the ability or knowledge to relate that to the masses and make a difference to many lives, we can rest assured that in our children and those who come after, we will in some way be adding to the great pool of evolving existence. In fact I believe thats what its all about... overcoming ****...and still choosing to go on exploring.. Every day is a school day..
Looking forward to Song of Suzannah... couldnt put down Wolves of Calla... read it in three days... Shall share thoughts again soon... Over and out.
