Hi everyone!
Do you know how many copies of each King's first edition was published?
I saw The Collector (http://Do you know how many books of this first edition was issued?) (very useful website), but it's description is not perfect. For example, Dolores Claiborne, Gerald's Game, and so on. I want to know about all the King's main books.
Please help me!!!

My guess would be that the numbers are different for each book.
If The Collector doesn't have the information listed, it's probably more work to locate the information than I'm willing to do.....he's pretty thorough and knowledgeable.
You could try asking some of the guys at darktower.org----they are also extremely knowledgeable.

We've never kept a running tally/record of the first edition print runs but Sundrop is correct, it is not the same for every book. I'm not sure if it would be impossible, but to try to reconstruct that information after 38 years would be a nightmare and way more time than we're willing to put in so it won't be something you'll getting from us but perhaps there are others out there who've kept track over the years.

Here's an interesting listing of the estimated sales of the best selling authors of all time. All told, SK is estimated to have sold between 300 million to 350 million books. Astoundingly, this puts him behind JK Rowling who has only 8 novels to her credit.

Please remember that these are numbers I gathered from various sources which may or may not be too accurate.
Gerald's Game 1,500,000
Dolores Claiborne 1,500,000
Nightmares and Dreamscapes 1,500,000
Rose Madder 1,750,000
All the Green Mile paperbacks 2,000,000 each
Desperation 1,750,000
Regulators 1,250,000
Packaged set of Desperation and Regulators 200,000
Green Mile HC 75,000
Bag of Bones 1,300,000
Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon 1,250,000
On Writing 200,000
Black House 2,000,000
From a Buick 8 1,750,000
Revised Gunslinger 60,000
Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon pop-up book 500,000
'Salem's Lot Illustrated edition 25,000
Colorado Kid paperback 1,000,000
Cell 1,100,000
Lisey's Story 1,250,000
Duma Key 1,000,000
Just After Sunset 900,000
Under the Dome 950,000
Blockade Billy 500,000
Full Dark, No Stars 1,200,000
And that's about it. If a title isn't listed, I don't have the number for it.
Again, I want to emphasize that these are rough numbers of first printings of the trade editions I didn't include any of the books from the small publishers (Grant, CD, etc.) because those are fairly easily obtained.
Hope this helps!

That's an interesting list. Harold Robbins has sales of 750 million on only 23 books.
One that was lower than I thought was Ian Flemming. He had 100 million on 14 books which is a lot but as huge as the movie franchise has been for all these years, I thought it would be more.

bizzyradio only asked me for the numbers after Needful Things was published. I have some of the earlier ones if anyone's interested.

My only differences are:
The Stand (original) 70,000
The Dead Zone 80,000
Cujo 150,000
Different Seasons 200,000
Christine 250,000
Pet Semetary 250,000
Talisman 600,000
Thinner 26,000
Bachman Books 15,000
It 1,000,000
Misery 900,000
The Dark Half 1,200,000
Four Past Midnight 1,000,000
I'd never seen the numbers for Rage or Insomnia before.
It's possible the 25,000 number for The Bachman Books was the number of trade paperbacks done.
